Responsible Gaming

OBSERVE: Gambling is entertainment with financial risk. EXPAND: Responsible gaming means choosing to play consciously-setting limits, keeping balance with life, and seeking help early. REFLECT: king-maker at king-maker-ca.com provides practical tools, clear information, and confidential support to help you stay in control.

Gambling is for adults who meet the legal age in their province/territory (18 in AB, MB, QC; 19 elsewhere in Canada). If you are located in Ontario, do not use king-maker-ca.com. We will assist you with limits, time-outs, or self-exclusion at any time.

Risk Awareness

OBSERVE: Problem gambling can develop gradually. EXPAND: Recognizing early signs allows timely action. REFLECT: Use the indicators and self-check below to assess your current risk.

Common warning signs

  • Increasing bet frequency or stakes to "chase" losses
  • Thinking about gambling when not playing or using it to escape stress
  • Hiding play from family/friends or feeling guilty after sessions
  • Missing work/studies or neglecting responsibilities due to play
  • Borrowing money, using credit for deposits, or unpaid bills accumulating
  • Repeated failed attempts to cut down, coupled with irritability when not gambling

Quick self-assessment

Answer Yes/No to each:

  • In the last 6 months, have you spent more time or money gambling than planned?
  • Have you returned to win back losses within the same day or week?
  • Has gambling negatively affected work, school, or relationships?
  • Have you borrowed or sold items to fund gambling?
  • Do you feel restless or irritable when trying to stop?

If you answered "Yes" to two or more, consider using our tools below and contacting a support service.

Limits & Tools

OBSERVE: Limits reduce risk by setting clear boundaries. EXPAND: Deposit and time controls work best when set conservatively. REFLECT: king-maker provides configurable tools in your account.

Deposit limits (daily/weekly/monthly)

  1. Go to: Account > Responsible Gaming > Deposit Limits.
  2. Select a period: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  3. Enter an amount you can afford to lose (example: Daily CAD 50; Weekly CAD 150; Monthly CAD 400).
  4. Confirm. Decreases take effect immediately; increases require a 24-hour cooling-off and explicit reconfirmation.

Tip: Choose the lowest amount that fits your discretionary budget. Use only personal funds, never credit.

Time limits and session controls

  • Session timer: Set a reminder at 15/30/60+ minutes. A banner will prompt you to continue or log out.
  • Daily play cap: Set a maximum total play time (e.g., 60 minutes/day). Reaching the cap ends the session.

Short breaks ("Time-Out")

  1. Go to: Account > Responsible Gaming > Time-Out.
  2. Choose 24, 48, or 72 hours (you may select up to 30 days).
  3. Confirm. You cannot log in or deposit until the Time-Out ends automatically.

Regional Compliance Note: Tools above are available to eligible Canadian customers outside Ontario. If you are in Ontario, do not access king-maker-ca.com.

Self-Exclusion

OBSERVE: When gambling is harming wellbeing or finances, a longer break may be necessary. EXPAND: Self-exclusion blocks account access for a fixed period to create space for recovery. REFLECT: Our process is structured, confidential, and enforceable.

How to self-exclude

  1. Navigate to Account > Responsible Gaming > Self-Exclusion.
  2. Select a duration: 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, or Lifetime.
  3. Read the consequences summary and tick to acknowledge understanding.
  4. Confirm via email/SMS code. For assistance, email support@king-maker-ca.com.

What happens next

  • Login, deposits, and play are blocked immediately for the chosen period.
  • Marketing communications are suspended. You may still receive essential service messages (e.g., withdrawal or security notifications).
  • Any remaining real-money balance can be withdrawn by contacting support, subject to identity verification, AML/fraud checks, and our Terms. Bonus funds and unfinished bonus play are forfeited.
  • We cannot lift a self-exclusion early. A lifetime exclusion is permanent.

Refund and access policy

  • Deposits already wagered are not refunded.
  • Pending withdrawals are processed per standard checks; you cannot cancel them during exclusion.
  • Attempting to create new accounts during exclusion is prohibited and will lead to closure of duplicate accounts and forfeiture of bonuses.

Regional Compliance Note: If located in Ontario, do not use king-maker-ca.com. Ontario residents can consider iGaming Ontario's My PlayBreak program for provincially regulated sites.

In such cases, we may: pause bonuses, require setting limits, apply a Time-Out, or place the account under review or exclusion. All actions are documented. Personal data for RG purposes is processed under our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Regulatory note: As of 2025, king-maker operates via offshore licences claimed under the Gaming Board of Anjouan (ALSI-152406028-F12) and Curaçao (clarification pending).
